The last 5 years have seen an enormous rise in pet ownership, opening the doors to new challenges for launching & scaling pet product brands. For young brands, accurate and reliable shipping has never been more difficult - yet beyond important. In 2021, one of the most notable DTC brands was acquired for $800 million in the pet products industry.

Increased pet adoption has shifted purchase behavior towards a search for higher quality products and trustworthy brands. In response, retailers and ecommerce brands expanded their product offerings and sales methods to meet the new demands of the pet industry. 

Expanding product options is a great first step, but how does a pet DTC brand choose the most effective method for order fulfillment?
